Public Hearing Notice - Conditional Use Permit

A request has been made to the Jackson County Planning Commission by TowerNorth Development, LLC, on behalf of Harold Pohlman Trust, for a Conditional Use Permit pursuant to Jackson County Zoning Ordinance, Section 603.4, Agricultural Preservation, Conditional Uses. This request is to construct a wireless telecommunications tower, which would enhance the coverage and capacity of Verizon Wireless service.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Parcel 18.024.0500 The North Half of the Northwest Quarter (N ½ NW ¼) of Section Twenty-four (24), Township One Hundred Four (104) North, Range Thirty-seven (37), West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Minnesota. A Public Hearing will be held on this matter on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 at 6:15 p.m. at the Minnesota West, Jackson Campus, 401 West Street, Main Entrance, Room Y101 – Multipurpose Room.
