Appraiser Credentials

The staff employed by the Jackson County Assessor’s Office are professionals with stringent training and experience requirements set by the State Board of Assessors.  The Minnesota State Board of Assessors governs and administers the licensure of all assessors in the state of Minnesota.

The requirements for each license level along with the required training and experience can be viewed on the State Board of Assessor’s website.  Questions relating to the licensure of any of the Jackson County staff can be directed to the office or by contacting the State Board of Assessors.
