Public Hearing - Conditional Use Permit (CUP)

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

A request has been made to the Jackson County Planning Commission by Scott Ellenbecker, for a Conditional Use Permit pursuant to Jackson County Zoning Ordinance, Section 612.26 Shoreland: Land Use District, General Use District. This request is to add a resort and campground as part of the existing winery and restaurant business.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION

Parcel 16.018.0150: Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Government Lot 1, Government Lot 2 and the meandered lake bed of Round Lake, all in Section 18, Round Lake Township 101 North, Range 38 West in Jackson County, Minnesota.

A Public Hearing will be held on this matter on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026  at 6:00 p.m. at the Minnesota West, Jackson Campus, 401 West Street, Main Entrance, Room Y101 – Multipurpose Room. In the case of inclement weather, we will post the cancellation and the new notice with the date, time, and location of the rescheduled hearing on the Jackson County website: www.co.jackson.mn.us
