Public Hearing - Variance Request

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

A request has been made to the Jackson County Board of Adjustment by Michael Bregel, on behalf of Jeanne McCarthy, et al., for a Variance pursuant to Jackson County Zoning Ordinance, Section 612.61 Shoreland: Land Use District Description, Placement of Structures on Lots. This request is to replace the existing garage which is closer to the road and side yard than the ordinance allows.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION

Parcel 03.441.0080: Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8) in McKinney’s Beach, Fish Lake, in Government Lot Two (2) in the East Half (E ½ ) of the Southeast Quarter (SE ¼) of Section Five (5), Christiania Township One Hundred Four (104), Range Thirty-five (35), Jackson County, Minnesota. 

A Public Hearing will be held on this matter on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026  at 6:30 p.m. at the Minnesota West, Jackson Campus, 401 West Street, Main Entrance, Room Y101 – Multipurpose Room.
